Themes is a classic exercise of variations on a theme. Basically the idea, essential, almost primal, the elaboration. 

The Linguido challenge (as in the first CD "West Mantra") is that of fascination by means of "habit". The rhythms and throbbings of percussive sounds become part of the sound environment. The cadenced process finds its aesthetical way in the fast exposition (the thirty tracks cover a range from 30 seconds to two minutes). It clarifies a mechanism, an idea, a reflection. 

The drum sound, so daily familiar to us, becomes an ideal means to represent the need of "purity" that's the force behind the author's work with sound. Themes is a journey in personal liberation. 

It unrolls in the obstinate construction of little sound cells (almost anachronistic, because made with machines, "forced" by the man's hand) and is realizee in the making of a revealed world, a hyperrealistic soundtrack for our daily life.
